Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Effective Date: May 21, 2026.

Read these terms before you implement our strategies. We built Local Business Ranking Pro to share field-tested local SEO tactics. We document exactly what works for ranking in the Google Map Pack right now. You agree to these rules when you browse our site, read our case studies, or apply our methods.

We expect you to treat this information responsibly. We don’t tolerate scraping, content theft, or misuse of our proprietary data.

Our Intellectual Property

We write every word on this site. We run the tests. We track the ranking fluctuations. We publish the results.

You can’t copy our content and pass it off as your agency’s work. You can’t scrape our local search case studies. You can’t lift our Google Business Profile optimization checklists and sell them as your own premium course. We protect our intellectual property aggressively.

We spend weeks auditing HVAC contractors in Phoenix to produce a single case study. We pull the raw ranking data. We map the citation inconsistencies. We write the final analysis. That effort belongs to us.

If you want to reference our findings on proximity signals or review velocity, link back to the original article. Cite your sources clearly. Don’t steal.

No Ranking Guarantees

Google updates its local algorithm constantly. We document the exact steps we take to fix NAP consistency across 50 directories. We show you how we optimize GBP Q&A sections to capture featured snippets. We share the exact schema markup we deploy for local service businesses.

We never guarantee your specific business will rank in the top three.

Local SEO carries inherent friction. A competitor opens a shop closer to the city center. A rogue algorithm update shifts the proximity radius overnight. A client gets hit with a wave of negative reviews. We provide high-resolution data based on our agency experience. We don’t offer a magic bullet.

You apply these tactics at your own risk. If you decide to keyword-stuff your exact match business name and Google suspends your profile, you own that outcome. We explicitly advise against tactics that violate Google guidelines. Your business profile remains your responsibility.

Data Accuracy and Shelf Life

Local search is volatile. Google updates its guidelines without warning. We publish our findings based on the exact moment we ran the test. A tactic that dominates the map pack today will fail next month if the algorithm shifts.

We don’t guarantee the perpetual accuracy of our archives. You will find older articles on this site detailing citation building methods from previous years. We keep them live for historical context. You must verify current Google Business Profile guidelines before you implement older strategies.

Trust your own analytics.

Agency and Client Application

Many of our readers run their own local SEO agencies. You are welcome to apply our proximity optimization techniques to your clients’ campaigns. You can’t blame us if a client fires you.

Our content serves as an educational baseline. It does not replace your professional judgment. When you merge duplicate listings or dispute a fake competitor review, you take full responsibility for the outcome. We provide the roadmap. You drive the car.

Do not promise your clients guaranteed map pack rankings based on an article you read here. Set realistic expectations based on your own execution capabilities.

Limitation of Liability

We accept no liability for your business outcomes. You can’t sue us if your phone stops ringing. You can’t hold us responsible if your map pack visibility drops after a core update.

If you attempt a primary category change on a verified GBP and trigger a hard suspension, that is your problem. We warn you about the risks of editing core business information. We accept zero liability for lost leads, dropped rankings, or suspended profiles resulting from your actions.

Under no circumstances will Local Business Ranking Pro be liable for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. The weight of your marketing decisions rests entirely on your shoulders. We cut through the noise of local SEO theory to give you practical steps. How you implement them dictates your success.

Affiliate Links and Recommendations

We recommend specific local SEO tools. We name names. We use BrightLocal for citation tracking. We use Whitespark for local rank tracking. We pay for these tools with our own money.

When we link to a tool we trust, we often use an affiliate link. We earn a commission if you purchase through that link. This does not change the price you pay. It funds the extensive testing we do on this site.

We never recommend a product we haven’t personally tested in a live client campaign. If a tool fails to deliver accurate local search volumes, we drop it immediately. We don’t sell our opinions.

Third-Party Resources

We link out to external resources constantly. We point you to Google’s official documentation. We link to local search forums. We reference third-party patent analyses to explain proximity factors.

We don’t control these external sites. A link from Local Business Ranking Pro does not mean we endorse everything that third party publishes. External sites change their content, update
